The Process
Vitamin infusion therapy is a straightforward and relaxing process, typically lasting between 45 to 60 minutes per session.
At NorthWoods, your comfort is our priority. To help you feel at ease and fully prepared, we’ve outlined what you can expect during your IV therapy visit:
Consultation
Before administering any vitamin infusions, you will have a consultation with a healthcare professional to discuss your health goals and needs. At your consultation you will also have an NP assessment to ensure you are eligible for IV Therapy.
Administration
During this appointment, a healthcare professional will deliver your personalized infusion via an IV drip, allowing the nutrients to enter your bloodstream directly for optimal absorption.
Absorption
After the administration of your personalized vitamin blend into your bloodstream your body will begin quickly absorbing the nutrients. You should immediately begin feeling the benefits of the vitamin infusion!
AfterCare
After the infusion, you can resume your normal activities! If you have any concerns or questions please contact the health care professional who administered your infusion!

When Alec was sent home from the ER after being there 7 hours on a Monday night, Liz came each day to our house to give him fluids via IV. On Friday, when he was air lifted to Marshfield Children's hospital ICU, they couldn't believe how we made it from Monday to a Friday without iv fluids. But.... reason ism because he DID have IV fluids in the comfort of our home and we didnt have to spend 7 hrs in taking him back to ER and fighting to get them to give him fluids. She also had red light therapy for him and I as well. Liz's bed side manner and skilled nursing were incredible. I can't think of how things would have went without Northwoods IV Hydration & Wellness. She has also cared for me to keep me healthy so I could care for him, with infusions and vitamin injections. Unfortunately, the HUS that he ended up having, would not show in labs until the 5th day. This was so helpful during that time, since hospital sent us home and it took hours for us to get them to give him fluids.
